Singapore weather usually enjoys the typical climate that the rest of Southeast Asia has, as it is generally hot and humid throughout the year. Therefore, Singapore weather is characterized as tropical. Singapore is located in South-Eastern Asia, on the Malayan Peninsula and is situated in the surrounding area of the equator. The average minimum temperature in Singapore is about 23 C whereas the average maximum is about 31 C. The temperatures are usually high with an average of 30°C during daytime and the humidity is usually above 75%. Singapore weather is characterized by two different monsoon seasons, the North Eastern season, from December to March and the South Western season which lasts from June to September. November and December are usually the rainy months. June and August are considered to be the best months to visit Singapore, as the weather is milder, although it is still rainy and humid. |
